FairShares Social Auditing
The FairShares Association has created social auditing and diagnostic tools that enable supporters and members to participate in FairShares education and/or do social audits of their enterprises. Our diagnostics have been used in teaching at Sheffield Business School since 2008 and are designed to help practising managers develop strategies for the future, whilst also meeting the member’s need to research practices in the social economy.
By using these tools, you will be able to develop answers to populate a FairShares Canvass for a new FairShares enterprise.
The following survey tools support FairShares Model Level 1:
- Social Enterprise Values Survey (benchmark and rank the social enterprise value important to members)
- Initial Social Audit (open questions to stimulate a dialogue about purpose, ethics and power)
- Initial Participation Audit (open questions to stimulate dialogue about worker/member participation in management)
- Initial Governance Audit (open questions to support capacity building amongst members to strengthen enterprise governance)
When you have used these, we offer four advanced diagnostics
