An IPS is an Industrial and Provident Society in the United Kingdom, registered under the Industrial and Provident Society Act 1965. This Act may be referred to as the Co-operatives, Community Benefit and Credit Union Act following legislation to simplify and consolidate Co-operative Law in the UK.
