“Members Capital” has the meaning that is assigned to it in Article 48(b)(i).

It represents all the capital supplied or earned by Members collectively that has been retained by the enterprise as working capital. In the event of dissolution, Members would be entitled to have Members Capital returned to them.

Members Capital differs from Cooperative Capital because it is sourced from third parties in the form of grants and donations. The FairShares Model regards 'society' as having an investment where funds have been sourced from bodies serving the public interest.
