The Advanced Wealth Audit survey digs deeper into the impact of participation defined in the [[Initial Participation Audit]] to assess the impact on six different types of [[Capital|capital] (natural, human, social, intellectual, manufactured and financial).  It helps to reframe the concept of wealth as the creation, balancing and replenishment of these six capitals. Introduction

The FairShares Association’s wealth auditing tool was created during the FairShares Lab Erasmus+ project on incubators for FairShares enterprises in Hungary, Croatia, Germany, Netherlands and the UK. It has been strongly influenced by the PhD study of Maureen McCulloch on 'for-purpose accounting' and a book chapter by Dr Rory Ridley-Duff and Dr David Wren for a Japanese social enterprise textbook about the role of FairShares in binding the social economy and sustainable development together.
  • McCulloch, M. (2019 (due by)) "Accounting for purpose: a neglected narrative", PhD Project at Sheffield Hallam University (forthcoming)
  • Ridley-Duff, R. and Wren, D., S. (2018) 'Social Economy, Sustainable Development and the FairShares Model', in Yamamoto and Yagihashi (eds) Social Enterprise, forthcoming.

The Advanced Wealth Audit survey digs deeper into the impact of participation defined in the Initial Participation Audit to assess the impact on six different types of [[Capital|capital] (natural, human, social, intellectual, manufactured and financial). It helps to reframe the concept of wealth as the creation, balancing and replenishment of these six capitals. Using the diagnostic tool, you can find out member perceptions of which capitals are being created and depleted in different areas of organisational life. The results enable a management group to set priorities so that all capitals are replenished and enhanced by the enterprise.

This generic survey can be tailored (by arrangement) to meet specific organisation needs.
